Firmware Update (Rev 1B02) for VT4.0 Dive Computer
In response to input received from users of the VT 4.0, Oceanic has modified the several items to improve the VT 4.0’s operation.

Users may upgrade their VT4.0's firmware (operating software program) to newly released revision 1B02 using the Check for new Firmware Update feature of the latest OceanLog PC interface program.  There is no need to return the unit to Oceanic.

Firmware Update (Rev 1C) for GEO 2 Wrist Watch Dive Computer
Oceanic Customer Service has received several GEO 2 units that were returned from product owners who experienced similar problems with display of dive mode information. Corrected display of Max Depth on the Surface Alternate (Last Dive) screen which showed a phantom depth instead of the actual Max Depth of the previous (last) dive.

Users may upgrade their GEO 2's firmware (operating software program) to newly released revision 1C using the Check for new Firmware Update feature of the latest OceanLog PC interface program.  There is no need to return the unit to Oceanic.

Oceanic Customer Service has received several VEO 1.0 units that were returned from product owners who experienced similar problems with display of dive mode information. Corrected display of Max Depth on the Surface Alternate (Last Dive) screen which showed a phantom depth instead of the actual Max Depth of the previous (last) dive. Removed display of Date from the Log Preview screen. The VEO 1.0 model does not feature Date.

Users may take the module to your Authorized Oceanic Dealer for processing of an update.

Firmware Update (Rev 1E.03) for OC1 Wrist Watch Dive Computer
Oceanic Customer Service has received several OC1 units that were returned from product owners who experienced similar problems with display of dive mode information. Upon descending on a repetitive dive, while in Watch mode, tank Pressure and calculated information associated with Pressure (such as Air Time Remaining) were missing from the usual dive mode screens.

Users may upgrade their OC1’s firmware (operating software program) to newly released revision 1E.03 using the Check for new Firmware Update feature of the latest OceanLog PC interface program.  There is no need to return the unit to Oceanic.

FDX-10 and CDX-5 First Stage
In cooperation with the U. S. CPSC (Consumer Product Safety Commission), Oceanic Worldwide is initiating a voluntary recall of all affected CDX5 and FDX10 (diaphragm) type First Stages.

The affected First Stages include those that were shipped to Oceanic Retailers from the factory between May 1, 2006 and November 15, 2006. Other model DX type First Stages, such as the CDX, DXi, DX3, DX4, and TDX5, that received annual service between May 1, 2006, and October 22, 2007, may also be affected.

In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), Oceanic Worldwide of San Leandro, California, is voluntarily recalling Oceanic Versa Pro revision 2A Digital Dive Computers. While operating in the User Selected Digital Gauge Mode, displayed Elapsed Dive Time can be in excess of actual elapsed time.
